I went through it today... (my family took a roadtrip to see it..) and it's cool... not too keen on the €1.80 toll though... went from Ennis to anacotty in 35 mins.. so I was impressed I won't be using it very often though... the toll is very offputting...

Can well imagine if you are a local the toll is off putting, make me wonder how many people will avoid it because of the toll?

35 minutes! That's great time, it would be worth the €1.80 if you're in a hurry. I wonder how much extra is spent on petrol going the long way?

i went through tunnel ,thought it was great and new road really does bypass city with good exits /entry at dock rd. and coonagh roundabout. u have to have exact toll as the basket things do not give u back any change as i found out with my 2 euro coin, so they got my 20 cent extra !

p.s.MY brother in law was one of the engineers on the project and now every time we drive on the bypass or over the bridge my 4 year old niece Caoimhe says "there is my daddys road " Cute or what ?
