Hello Limerick Ladies!!!

Chambers bar in Cork host to "Sinners" gay club night every Wednesday, is now a full-time gay venue and we are proud to announce the first weekly lesbian club night in Cork called Takeover (organised by women for women)!!

Takeover@Chambers will be happening every Thursday night.
On these nights the club gets a trademark takeover makeover, making the club all the more girl friendly ;)

There are awesome drinks offers for example: the trademark "Pink Lady" fishbowl cocktail (you could drown in!) for just €10 and a bucket of beer inc. 5bottles of beer (you choice) for just €20!!

Spinning for you on the decks is myself the only lesbian resident DJ in Cork :P and my name (as you can see) is Jules!! :)
So if you're visiting for the first time and are a bit shy or don't know where the toilets are,:p come say hello to me and I'll show you around!! I'll be the tiny lesbian in the DJ box playing you a mix of alternative and chart!

Admission on these nights is Zero, free free free!!!

Once a month we will also have live entertainment! Tonight we have the best covers band in the country known as "WITLESS" who recently played for dykenight @Dublin pride and had the place (900 people) rocking!! Seriously these guys are awesome, so if you're down in Cork tonight come check them out and admission is still FREE!!

The night kicks off @11pm and goes 'til late

wasn't crazy about the str8 crowd having their bday party in the corner but everything else was perfect

friendly professional staff - very welcoming, lovely lovely bouncers who dealt very well with some drunken lads trying to get in...

I'm still a big Flux fan but Chambers really impressed the hell out of me... Would recommend it to everybody!

FYI: That "str8" crowd was mostly gays with a few straight family members, and I hate it when gays give out about straight people in gay venues...where do you think the gays went before they had their own specially branded gay bars...?

Good point, also... could have been a bunch of str8 acting gays... they apparently exist an get annoyed when people don't recognise them as being gay as everyone expects stereotypes

Sometimes....no...most of the time....if there are straight people in a bar it's a better atmosphere....but sometimes......i know the people are straight because the guys can't keep their hands to themselves and give out to me be for being a dyke while the women look me up and down and stamp on my toes, or push me out of the way at the bar!

I agree with your points...but the bolded text is where it is then your place to get them removed. :D Noone should have to endure that from a hetrosexual, OR a homosexual...or any other sexual!! :p
