So how did it go?

Did many show up or were you playing to a small crowd?

Did you have a good time anyway?

Well i am delighted you had a good time because that is what everything is all about!! It's a real shame you got caught in the middle of all that in-galway-politicking.

Saw sharon that day, just after tha party at the museum and she told me she was judging....OH :( i was a little worried, especially after myself and my girlfriend were egged the night before!

You wouldn't have a great time at the warwick. It was packed, it stank and they only had one bar open with two tenders! Really enjoyed it until 11.30 and after it took a half hour of being trampled on and shouted at to get two drinks we legged it just before 12. There was a still people arriving!

LOL, love Doodle's reply above! LOL :D

1 - It was brilliant, the night was fun and the performances were all very good (most of them)

2 - I guesstimated that about 40/50 ppl were there for the show, and I think Galway has some questions to answer. As a person playing in The Blackbox Theatre a few people were a little hostile towards me in the events after the parade. Most people were absolutely delightful, but as an out-of-towner I didn't appreciate the tension, the hostility or the Galway Pride itself. If I was to ever be invited to Galway again for any event (not just Pride) I would need to seriously think about it and not just do it because it's Pride (or whatever the event)

3 - Doodle answered it best above.... :D

To all who came and supported either one or both events, well done!
