Howayiz all!! Just wanted to see if there was any interest in this! A gang of us in Waterford are setting up a basketball team and we've had some interest from Pink Kilkenny so we're now looking to see if theres enough interest to set up a league. It'll be open for male, female or mixed teams.

Well done Joanna. This is a fantastic idea! I used to love basketball in school, but the aul fitness levels aren't the best of late..... :( I'd need a hell of a lot of training to get up to scratch.

I'd say there'll be great interest!

Its not my idea, its Waynes! He just played in the World OutGames!!!

We've some interest now from Cork which gives us 3 possible cities. I reckon there'll be at least 2 teams in Waterford

I don't know what the general intrest will be from Limerick... I'd be interested, but would need about 6 months before I'd be fit enough to play.... lol.... Have you a poster for it? If not, I'll make one and pass it around the place.

Well we're leaving it up to each city to get themselves organised. I'm playing for the Waterford AllBabes so have me work cut out with helpin Wayne with that!

Hey ho Limro! We'll be having a launch tournament for the Rainbow League on the 26th of August as part of Kilkenny Pride!! Would love to see the Outlaws make an appearance!

We're gathering people all the time, and if anyone is interested, PM me here, or leave your name into Riddlers for my attention (probably the best place to catch me)
Now that pride is over, I'm back to full steam on BBall! :D

Hey everyone

The biggest problems we've had is with facilities. Wexford have theirs sorted now and in Waterford and KK, we're planning to use courts in local parks pending weather. Would really love to see the Outlaws get up and running.

We're planning a triangular tournament in Wexford for the teams we know will be ready (Kilkenny, Waterford and Wexford) but if other teams are ready to go by then we'll definately have them included.
